AdForum PHNX Awards titles 2020

My role

I took the lead in developing the title video, overseeing everything from sketch to final edit, art direction, style, and animation.

Working in teamfor the initial dark scenes, I personally animated and rendered the colorful parts (starting with the appearance of colored blocks and continuing until the end), as well as managed the soft dynamic bodies simulation.

Description:

AdForum.com hosted its first creativity awards during the 2020 corona lockdown in order to give visibility to designers who might feel pushed aside from the community.
The concept behind the title is The Rise of the Phoenix: in a down period we can still rise and shine.

Addikt was asked to design the identity and help promote the award event on social media.
The design was kept simple and minimal, but we had the chance to push the animations in the titles.

The idea was to represent the rise and transformation of creativity. As the phoenix rises from hashes and it flies to become beautiful, creativity sparks and grows to produce amazing artwork.
